The $1.90 booking fee goes to Shire and is paid by your client, not you. Shire never takes a cut of your service price or tips.
You set your prices. Payouts go straight to your bank through Stripe, typically within 1-2 business days. Stripe Connect is required to accept payments. Setup takes about five minutes and we walk you through it.

Shire is completely free for you. No monthly fee, no setup fee, and no percentage taken from your services or tips. The only cost on your side is standard Stripe card processing (2.9% + 30¢, the same rate as Square). Your clients pay a small booking fee at checkout ($1.90-$4.90, based on service price). That never comes out of your pocket. Example: on a $35.00 service, your client pays $36.90 ($35.00 + $1.90 booking fee). Stripe processing is about $1.37. Shire takes $0 from you. You keep the rest.

In Settings, you choose how far in advance clients can cancel online for a full refund (12, 24, 48, or 72 hours before their appointment). After that window, they need to reach out to you. Because clients pay when they book, an empty slot is already paid for. That alone cuts no-shows way down.
